This policy explains how Chaozhou Chaoan Meilin Plastic Co., Ltd. collects, uses and protects personal information submitted through this website.

Chaozhou Chaoan Meilin Plastic Co., Ltd. (“Meilin”, “we”, “us” or “our”) supplies and converts PET films and responds to business inquiries submitted through meilincn.org.

2. Information we collect
When you request a quote or sample, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including:
- your name, company, business email, telephone or WhatsApp number, country or region, and company website;
- product interests, intended application, specifications, target performance, quantity and related commercial requirements;
- for sample requests, preferred sample format, testing process, courier account, requested date and delivery address;
- basic technical submission information, such as the page used and submission time.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card information, identity-document numbers, personal financial information or other information that is not necessary for your business inquiry.
3. How and why we use information
We use the information to review and answer your inquiry, recommend a suitable film direction, prepare quotations, arrange samples, coordinate delivery, provide requested after-sales support, maintain business correspondence, prevent misuse of the form, and meet applicable legal obligations.
We process this information because you asked us to take steps concerning a potential business relationship, because it is necessary to respond to or perform that relationship, and, where required, because you gave consent. We do not use inquiry information for automated decision-making or sell it to third parties.
4. Inquiry delivery and service providers
The inquiry form uses FormSubmit to transmit the information you enter to Meilin by email. After a successful submission, an inquiry record is also sent through Google Apps Script to a private Google Sheet used by Meilin to track and follow up the request. These providers may process the submitted information and related technical data to deliver and secure their services.
Depending on where you submit the form and where service infrastructure is located, information may be transmitted across national or regional borders. By selecting the consent box and submitting the form, you ask us to transmit the information for this purpose.
You can review FormSubmit’s privacy terms and Google’s Privacy Policy. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, logistics providers or public authorities when necessary for your request or required by law. We do not authorize these parties to use it for unrelated purposes.
5. Live chat
If you choose “Chat with Meilin”, the website uses Supabase to create a temporary visitor session and deliver the conversation to authorized Meilin staff.
The live-chat service may process an anonymous visitor identifier, the page from which the chat was opened, message content, message and reply times, conversation status, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. Please do not enter passwords, payment-card information, identity-document numbers or other information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Your browser stores a conversation identifier so that an open conversation can be restored on the same device. Supabase may process and store chat information on infrastructure outside your country or region. You can review Supabase’s privacy policy. Live-chat information is accessible only to authorized Meilin support accounts and is used to answer and manage your request.
7. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and live-chat information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage samples or quotations, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Ordinarily, an inquiry or chat that does not lead to an ongoing business relationship will be deleted or anonymized within 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to protect legal rights.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold your personal information and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent or a copy of information you provided. You may also object to certain processing.
To make a request, email info@meilincn.org. Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant inquiry or conversation. We may need to verify your identity. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
9. Security
We use reasonable organizational and technical measures intended to protect inquiry and live-chat information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet transmission, email or messaging system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please submit only information needed for the inquiry.
10. Children
This website is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, service providers or legal obligations change. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
